Dr. Reza Shah-Kazemi is currently the Research Fellow of the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London. He is the founding editor of the Islamic World Report. He studied International Relations and Politics at Sussex and Exeter Universities in the United Kingdom before obtaining his PhD. in Comparative Religion from the University of Kent in 1994. He has authored and translated several works including Paths to Transcendence: According to Shankara, Ibn Arabi and Meister Eckhart; Justice and Remembrance: Introducing the Spiritual of Iman Ali; Doctrine of Shii Islam in association with The Institute of Ismaili Studies, Avicenna: Prince of Physicians, Crisis in Chechnya and The Other in the Light of the One: The Universality of the Quran and Interfaith Dialoque. He has edited a number of collective volumes including Algeria: Revolution Revisited and published many articles and reviews in academic journals.
